From the hustle and bustle of our morning routines with hungry pets to the ambitious expansions of our facilities, there’s a lot to cover. A Morning at Dexter’s World
Our day starts early here at the farm, often before the sun rises. As I walk through the entrance, I’m greeted by our eager pets who can hardly wait for their breakfast. This morning ritual is not just a chore but a delightful interaction with nature that keeps me connected to the life and health of every creature under my care.
Expanding the Farm’s Infrastructure
One of the major updates I’m excited to share with you involves our new boat house. Stretching an impressive 22 meters in length and 6 meters wide, this two-story structure is set to become a multifunctional space for our visitors. The ground level will serve as a pet shop where visitors can interact with and purchase our farm-bred pets, adding a hands-on educational component to our farm.
Coffee Shop and More
Adjacent to the new boat house is our original boat house, which is being transformed into a cozy coffee shop. This has been a dream in the making, and I’m thrilled to see it slowly coming to life. This space will soon allow visitors to enjoy freshly brewed coffee while taking in the scenic views of our farm—a perfect blend of relaxation and nature.
Challenges and Solutions in Construction
The journey hasn’t been without its challenges. Erecting the posts for the new structures was particularly tough due to the muddy conditions. However, with persistence and the invaluable help of our team, we’ve managed to lay the perimeter of the hollow blocks. Our next steps include elevating the area with filling materials, laying down flooring, and constructing stairs for easy access to the upper levels of the boat house.
Future Plans: From Dream to Reality
Looking forward, the vision for Dexter’s World is expansive. We aim to fill up to 1,000 square meters to build additional structures that might house ostriches or other exotic animals. The proximity of these new spaces to our existing goat house is strategic, ensuring ease of management and continuity of care across all animal habitats.

Beyond construction and farming, my goal is to turn Dexter’s World into a haven for farming enthusiasts and families alike. Imagine a place where you can escape the city, feed animals, and truly engage with farm life. This hands-on experience is something I cherish and am eager to share with all of you.
