Dexter’s World: A Journey from Goat House Completion to Vegetable Harvest

Our journey begins with the near completion of our goat house. As I look at the sturdy structure, with its roofings almost done, I can’t help but feel a sense of achievement. This project is more than just a shelter for our goats; it’s a step towards realizing our dream of a dairy business that focuses on goat milk and meat. The process of building this house has taught me that with determination and continuous effort, any goal is attainable. Soon, our goats will have a comfortable and safe place to rest, ensuring their health and safety, which are paramount for a successful dairy business.

The Miracle of Vegetable Harvesting

Today’s highlight, however, is the harvest of our vegetables. Each harvest feels like witnessing a miracle unfold right before my eyes. From just a few seeds, we’ve managed to cultivate an abundance of white squash and bitter melon, exceeding our expectations with every harvest. Today, we’re set to harvest over 40 fruits of white squash, a testament to the miracles that dedication and hard work can bring.

The joy of harvesting fresh vegetables from the garden is incomparable. Each fruit picked is a reward for the efforts invested, and the anticipation of bringing these fresh, organically grown vegetables to the market fills me with excitement. Using our specially fabricated tricycle, our rolling store, we’re ready to present our produce in a manner that’s not only presentable but also convenient for our customers.
