This intelligent adaptation not only protected their offspring from predators like catfish and ducks but also led to a thriving tilapia population, estimated to exceed a thousand. Their coexistence with catfish demonstrates the harmony that can be achieved in aquaculture with careful observation and adaptation.

Our journey is filled with learning moments, one of which was the discovery that our ducks, in their search for snails and worms, were inadvertently compromising the structural integrity of our pond dykes.
