I may not always get to do it myself, but I make sure my staff is on top of watering the plants and ensuring the birds are well-fed. It’s a responsibility we share, and it brings a sense of satisfaction and connection to the circle of life.

A Colorful Update: Cockatiels and African Love Birds

Today, I’m thrilled to bring you an update on our cockatiels and African love birds. It’s been a while since our last vlog, and there are many new babies to show! Their color combinations are a masterpiece of nature, a reminder of the beauty and wonder in the world.

Our flock has doubled in numbers, and it’s all thanks to the care and attention we give them. Cleanliness is key, along with a nutritious diet including cattle bones, water spinach, and Moringa leaves. These contribute to the robust health of our chicks, who leave the nest strong and vibrant.

Adjusting to Market Changes

With the surge in bird seed prices following global tensions, we’ve found ways to minimize expenses without compromising the birds’ health. Incorporating leaves like water spinach into their diet has been a successful strategy, keeping them healthy and saving on costs.

The Joy of Bird Farming

As we look at our thriving aviary, filled with fat babies and vibrant colors, it’s clear that this is more than just a business. It’s a source of therapy and joy, a dream that we are working tirelessly to turn into a reality. We envision a future ecotourism park, a place where these birds can become the center of attraction.

I find a special kind of joy in the chirpings of our African love birds. To me, it’s like sweet music, a melody that brings peace and happiness. Their robust health and the sight of fat babies in every nest box are testaments to the success of our care and attention.
